The Red Ribbon Certified Schools (RRCS) program is currently being piloted in the state of Florida, funded by the FL Department of Children and Families. Schools outside the state must pay a non-refundable application fee to apply. This fee goes towards the certification process and recognition materials received by your school post certification. RRCS is like a Good Housekeeping Seal for schools and promotes academic excellence through prevention. Since 2005, over 63 schools nationwide have received the honor of Red Ribbon certification. The Red Ribbon Certified Schools (RRCS) program assesses and celebrates the successful efforts of schools in the prevention of substance abuse among youth. To learn more Click Here.
